           Right in the heart of Queensland's Sunshine Coast lies

Maroochy’s main coastal strip is just over an hours drive North of Brisbane,  and  lies between  the  Maroochy and Mooloolah rivers.  Spanning 1,153 square kilometres, Maroochy extends coastally North to Perigean and Westwards to include Kenilworth and Blackall Range.  Bisected by the Bruce Highway, Maroochy has two distinctly contrasting areas – the seaside resort centres and the hinterland townships.
It’s ocean frontage includes the beach resorts of Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headland, Maroochydore, Pacific Paradise, Mudjimba, Marcoola. Yarawoomba, Coolum and South Perigean.  Along the inner coastal fringe are the growing suburbs of Mountain Creek, Buderim, and Bli Bli, merging with the rural  townships of Palmwoods, Woombye, Forest Glen, Eudlo, Nambour, North Arm, Yandina,  Eumundi, Kenilworth, and the scenic mountain villages of Montville, Flaxton, Mapleton, Dulong and Kureelpa. Nambour is the  administration centre, situated 13km from the coast and 100km on the freeway fro
m  Brisbane.

Maroochydore and Mooloolaba are perfect for fishing, riverside picnics,  lazing on the beach or strolling around the specialist shops and boutiques.
